A machine embroidery workshop using the technique I used to generate my ‘Barbed wire’ textiles series of work.
You will begin by developing a background piecing together scraps of neutral fabrics and applying a thin layer of emulsion. I will demonstrate the secret to producing a sketched effected image using free machine embroidery.
A selection of materials will be supplied for the day and a requirements list provided prior to the day.
Tea and coffee and a tempting sweet treat will be included.
