A Story about the only pocket of land left to the country, made into a secured garden surrounded by barbed wire.
A machine embroidery workshop using the technique I used to generate my ‘Barbed wire’ textiles series of work.
You will begin by developing a background piecing together scraps of neutral fabrics and applying a thin layer of emulsion. I will demonstrate the secret to producing a sketched effected image using free machine embroidery.
Please note, sadly I had to postpone all my workshops, group talks and experiences that were booked in 2020 due to Covid 19. I very much hope these will resume in 2021.
