A huge thank you to Southend Seaside Stitchers for inviting me to speak on Saturday. I received such a warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with you all.

It was a real pleasure to share my storytelling through textiles and the stories behind my work. Thank you for your enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and for making me feel so at home.

I’m delighted to be sharing a nostalgic story I’ve written about a lady who rediscovers her much-loved childhood doll. As she holds it once again, precious memories come flooding back of the happy times she shared with her sister many years ago.
