Yesterday, my cosy little studio was filled with c

Yesterday, my cosy little studio was filled with colourful fabrics, needles and thread as we set about creating our very own little paper boats… well, fabric ones, of course! 🧵🪡

And what a lovely fleet they turned out to be! Every boat had its own little personality, with beautiful fabric combinations, tiny details and lots of love stitched into every seam. ⛵️

But, as always, it was about so much more than what we made. It was a day away from the everyday, filled with chatter, laughter, a little bit of stitching concentration (and, naturally, cake and a cuppa or two! ☕️🍰).

These are the days I hoped to create when I opened my studio — a welcoming little space to slow down, be creative, share ideas and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something by hand, in good company.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made yesterday so special. I think we can safely say our little fleet is ready to set sail! ⛵️🧵🪡

Today, my cosy little studio is getting ready to welcome my lovely stitchers for My Little Fabric Boat workshop.

Each kit is being carefully prepared, with little details, buttons and fabrics ready to be transformed into a tiny textile tale of its own.⛵️

I wonder where everyone’s little boat will sail off to? Perhaps it will carry a special memory, a little story, or simply a reminder to take some time away from the everyday and enjoy making something lovely.

🧵🪡 Kits packed, fabrics ready, and the studio almost shipshape… let the stitching adventures begin!
